BREW TIME
A WORD OF ADVICE
The brew time for Marley Coffee can vary depending on the brewing method and personal preference. Here are some general guidelines for different brewing methods.
BREWING METHOD & TIME
Drip coffee maker: 5-7 minutes
French press: 4-5 minutes
Pour-over: 2-4 minutes
Espresso machine: 20-30 seconds
Keep in mind that these are just general guidelines, and you may need to adjust the brew time based on your specific equipment and taste preferences. It’s always a good idea to experiment a bit to find the brew time that produces the best flavour for your Marley Coffee. Always follow the brewing instructions provided on the packaging.
BREWING COFFEE BEANS
Step 1
Use a coffee grinder to grind the beans to the desired coarseness. The grind size will depend on the brewing method you plan to use. For example, a coarser grind is generally used for French press, while a finer grind is used for espresso.
Step 2
Measure the coffee: Use a coffee scale or scoop to measure the desired amount of coffee based on the brewing method and serving size. A good rule of thumb is to use 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds for every 6 ounces of water.
Step 3
Heat the water: Bring water to the appropriate temperature based on your brewing method. For example, for drip coffee, the water should be around 195-205°F (90-96°C).
Step 4
Brew the coffee: Place the coffee grounds into the filter or brewing device and pour the hot water over them. Allow the coffee to brew for the appropriate amount of time based on your brewing method.
Step 5
Serve and enjoy: Once the coffee is brewed, pour it into a mug and enjoy! You can add milk, cream, sugar, or any other flavourings to your liking.
Enjoy!
BREWING GROUND COFFEE
Fine coffee should be brewed as carefully as it is grown. Use 2 tbsp. (10g) of ground coffee for 6 fl. oz. (180 ml) of cold, fresh water. Savour every sip and enjoy!
